WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?

Each school has a yearbook deadline. It is the senior client’s responsibility to know when that deadline is and to inform Baker Photography at least ten business days before that deadline of his or her yearbook selection.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Each school has requirements for yearbook portraits. It is the senior client’s responsibility to know those requirements and abide by them. Please check with your school’s yearbook staff before scheduling your portrait session to find out if the Yearbook session is required. Keep in mind that many schools also have dress requirements.

Please check with your school’s yearbook staff before the deadline, but at least ten days after submitting your image to Baker to be sure the image was received and is acceptable. It is the senior client’s responsibility to verify his or her yearbook image with the yearbook staff.

Copyright Questions

WHY DO YOU COPYRIGHT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS?

When your portrait was created it was copyrighted by our studio. Copying by means of home or commercial scanner, digital or film camera, or other electronic capture device, photocopying, or other mechanical means is against the law.

Why? Simply put, a copied photo always loses much of the original quality, clarity, and color you expect in a Baker portrait. Since this poor quality would reflect on the reputation of our work, we reserve the copyright on every photograph we create. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell photographs to anyone we suspect may attempt to copy them.
